The Meridian DSP5200 Special Edition is a pair of active speakers that is an enhanced version of the DSP5200. The built-in beryllium beep and broadband analog electronics extend the frequency response to more than 32 kHz. The clamp rings used reduce resonance and the rigid aluminum legs provide greater stability.

The special edition uses an optional DSP device that doubles the available processing power, allowing all audio, including MQA Core streams, to play at 176.4 / 192 kHz regardless of the incoming signal. This results in increased resolution, detail and clarity to ensure maximum accuracy from audio tracks.
